Favors

Sleigh Bells

A friend is getting married this December and rather than bubbles or flower petals or rice, she would like her guests to ring bells at the end of her ceremony. Specifically, she is looking for sleigh bells on a leather strap that her guests can then keep as favors. The only ones that I have found are very expensive. Any help would be much appreciated!

Just buy the cheap bells from WalMart or somewhere similar.  You can tie pretty ribbons onto those.  I wouldn't think it would double as a favor, though.

</div><div>Ditto.  What are you going to do with a sleigh bell?  I would use regular bells to decorate for Christmas, but sleigh bells are not aesthetically pleasing IMO.

I agree with PP... I hope they don't double as favors..

You could just go to Christmas Tree Shop and get a bunch of bells to place in a basket so the guests could take them when the come in or when the leave... whatever is easier for when they want the bells to be used...

Also, if hearts are set on sleigh bells... then checck out local flea markets, estate sales and even eBay.

Agree with pps. I think it is cute for a Christmas wedding, but they aren't favors. I would pick up some cheap ones at Michaels or Walmart and maybe spray them in the wedding colors or tie them to a ribbon that matches. You can also find little leather laces at Michaels that come on spools. Get a color you like and cut & tie yourself.
