Coffee bar instead of Candy Bar

I originally was all about a candy bar.. but then I got the feeling that everyone else was too! I really like the idea of doing a coffee bar, but not with syrups and lattes.  I want to have flavored whole coffee beans that guests can choose from (for example, hazelnut, caramel, chocolate, regular, decaf, etc) with mini coffee bags for guests to take home.  I would set it up the same as a candy bar and would also have alternatives for coffee (teas, hot cocoa) with some sweet treats to accent the table... What do you think?

I'm doing a candy bar because I LOVE candies and everyone knows it.  A coffee bar is a really good idea, especially if you have a special relationship with coffee.   ; )

I think a coffee bar would be cute and work well (especially if you are having a morning ceremony/reception or a reception that will go late into the night!).
We will be doing a lemonade/iced tea bar that will include muddled strawberries, peaches, and mint (working on more flavors!).

I love the idea, but unless people have a grinder at home the beans will be useless. What about renting a grinder and have it set up on the table with the whole beans? Or have them already ground instead?
