to get us to kiss

we are in need of fun ideas for the reception...instead of everyone 'clinking' their glasses for us to kiss.  We want to do something different and fun!

We've heard of:
drawing names of couples that have to kiss before we do
guests singing songs with 'LOVE' in them

we're not thrilled with these option, So any suggestions will help to get our thoughst going.  The 'clinking' of the glasses is sooo corny and not us.

Thanks

The only time I've ever seen this was with little bells the bride and groom had on every table.  Guests rang them to make the bride and groom kiss.

It was cute, but beware of guests who like to ring it all night.  By the end, the bride and groom were giving each other quick pecks on the cheeck because they were trying to talk or dance but guests got a little out of control with ringing those bells.

My cousin did this at his wedding reception last summer, except they had trivia questions.  I think one of the ushers (or maybe best man) went to the microphone at the front of the room and read off trivia questions.  If you wanted to answer, you clinked your glass...if you got the question right, the bride and groom kissed.  If you got the question wrong, you had to kiss your partner.

I have seen many different options at weddings.

    1) The DJ had a set of dice(very large) that you would roll and it would say either hug, kiss, or the person who rolled had to do something(I can't remember what it was) and one said try again later, this way the bride and groom didn't have to kiss all the time.
    2) Triva  questions( all about the bride and groom) that were on every table and if someone wanted a kiss then they would go up and answer which ever question they wanted if right there was a kiss.
    3) Tiny bells on tables once they were rang a kiss
    4) Going up and having to sing  a love song
    5) Clinking glasses(my least fav)
    6) Naming famous couples in history that got married and stayed together.

There are so many that you can do, and the great thing is you can make up your own version of anything.  Good Luck!

At a cousin's wedding they had a large number of balloons tied with ribbon to the microphone stand with a piece of paper in each balloon and the guest had to break the balloon and do the action written on the balloon inorder to get the bride and groom to kiss. The actions where just small silly but fun things.

I went to a wedding, where a couple had to go up in front of the bride and groom (and everyone elsse) and kiss the way they wanted the bride and groom to kiss.  It was funny and got other people involved.
