If I get my ring somewhere other than a jewerly store are there any places that will engrave it?

We picked out our rings at a local jewerly store but the more I think about it, I'm not impressed with my ring. I like fh ring. We put them on layaway but would like to get his ring there and get mine somewhere else. We want to have both wedding bands engraved. If I get my ring somewhere other than jewerly store are there any places that will engrave my ring?

I think Things Remembered might do it, but they charge a fee for items that are not bought in the store.  It's not a lot though.

Jewelry stores will probably do it but they'll charge you a fee.

Yea they will do it if they can. Things Remember, I talked to two, they can't for some reason do rings. Jared's will do it depending on the type of metal.

Also, if it is a specialty ring that was made by your specifications or something (as in one of a kind), I am willing to bet that not too many places would be willing to do it.  They will not want to screw up your one of a kind item.
