  • Food.  Is there some kind of pastry or cookie that you could make or buy from a bakery?    Or candy you could order on the internet?

Edible favors are definitely the way to go, and I think they are a great way to get your guests to experience a yummy part of your heritage:-)

  • You could try any of the following:

Spainish-Turron, nun's sighs, churros, palmeras o palmeritas, alfajores, Sevillanas

Middle Eastern- Turkish Delight, birds nests (pastry not the real thing), date cookies, baklava, Qatayef
  • thanks for the suggestions! however, we're leaning towards  non-food favors =/

  • How about some beautifl spanish fans? You can add a favor tag attached to each that says something special in Arabic with a translation? It might be a nice token for guests to take home.

  • Here are some mini spanish fans:

This one is a small Arabic jewelry box:

Here are some ideas for Arabic favors from an Arabian Nights themed bridal shower:

    1.  An authentic tea glass filled with maybe some tea leaves or candy. This you could wrap in a middle-eastern type fabric such as this one:

    2.  Some shawls or scarves. This could work especially in the winter.

    3.  Arabic slippers wrapped in tulle fabric tied with a satin bow.

    4.  Decorated candle votive holders.

    5.  Boxes of incense sticks wrapped in the same Zaarni fabric as above.
