Coaster Favors

We are planning to DIY tile coasters in our wedding colors for favors. I'm just not sure how to present them to the guests and if they will even realize what they are (maybe I'm not giving people enough credit lol) I know some people are using their coasters as escort cards as well but my fiance has vetoed that idea. We're doing skeleton key escort cards and he's pretty much set on them. HELP!!

Personally, I wouldn't take this with me. People aren't going to want one or two random coasters that will not match any other decor in their home.

Try to stick with something edible for your favors.

I agree completely.  I just tossed out 4 coasters from 4 different weddings...

Anything having to do with home decor is always a difficult personal preference.  Meaning I may like coasters, but I have more of a country/western home decor.  I like damask print, but it matches nothing in my home and if you gave me a damask coaster, I would probably get rid of it.  I have candles, but if you gave me a votive holder with little purple flowers glued on it, it matches nothing in my home.  And no, most people don't keep trinkets and momentos from other people's weddings.

You may think it's useful, but it really isn't.

I definitely see where you guys are coming from and I would hate to spend so much time and people just throw it away. I just have to convince my Fiance to do something different. He was really looking forward to it lol
