Out of Town Guests - Hotel Gift Bags

I was wondering - I know a lot of brides make their own gift bags for the guests they have staying at hotels, but sometimes it's very last minute.  Is there use for a gift bag service with different levels of bags/baskets that someone can create for you and even drop them off for you at said hotel?  Just wanted input on what everyone's thought were on this...

    There are companies that make these gift bags for certain cities but they are VERY VERY expensive... the couple I saw online were $40 - $50 PER BAG!! That's more than I'm spending per person for food and an open bar!
