Lost...

I'm so lost and am not sure what we should give as favors. We really don't have a theme. Our colors are white or ivory and brown and orange. My flower is the mango/orangish calla lily. I don't really want to do candy and every website I have looked at has calla lily favors but the calla lily is always white. I really don't want to have white calla lily favors when my calla lilies are going to be mango or orange. Any ideas ladies? TIA

Hi there, I know how you how feel. I'm using little silver picture frames for place cards (got them here at the wedding shop..so cute) and since we are having a photo booth, guest can use then for that.  As far as something on each place setting, I was going to do a little box with candy, but I was feeling like that was going to be a waste of $$$, cuz people usually don't take them.  So I'm going to buy little bottles of Verdi Champagne and place them at each of our guest place setting. I thought .. Who doesn't love champagne? Plus it will end up being cheaper to give that, I found a place that will sell then to me for less that $2 per bottle, which in the big picture is less $$ and people will take them and if there are any left behind I can take them....they wont go to waste. LOL Good Luck!!

We didn't want to do candy either. I ended up making tile coasters for everyone. They are super easy and really cheap. I bought bulk tile at Home Depot for $0.16 each and mod podged on scrapbook paper squares in pretty designs/colors. Then I sealed them and put little feet on the bottom. They are really cute and will double as our escort cards.

I gave away clear baggies of pecans for favors. I had three types, Honey Toasted, Salt Roasted, and Cinnamon Frosted. I tied them with a purple string (my color), and put a little thank you note on them. They went over really well, people kept them and ate them on their way home for a late night snack! It was different than the typical candy buffet. Good luck finding a favor! :)

I love the champagne idea! I wonder if they sell them around here for cheap. I would probably do wine instead. I love wine and everyone knows it. So, that would be cute. I could do less then $2.00. Thanks for the idea.

Agreed on the champagne idea! Where did you find them for that price?

My Fiance and i decided to drop the favor and put up signs on every table that we made a charitable donation to our favourite courses - although we are also doing a candy bar so if peopel want something to take home they can fill their own candy bags

    hope this helps!
