Limeade Favors

I saw a picture of a bride who gave her guests limeade in a mason jar. What a great and super cute idea! I am using apple green in my wedding, so this would be perfect. However, I don't know how she made the limeade mix. Has anyone ever done this? I would love some advice!

I would do a Google search for recipes.  I imagine it a combination of powdered drink mixes and sugar.

The frozen concentrate limeade by Minute Maid is delicious!!  I don't know how well it will keep in a jar, I don't know if it needs to stay refigerated.

In the picture, was it like it was canned with the lid screwed tight on it, or was it just used as a glass. If it was just used as a glass you can mix up the limeade and use it as your signature drink out of a large glass canister and tie a note around the jar that says something like "thank your for sharing our special day, enjoy a glass of limeade!"  (fyi- I suck at cheesy sayings, so I don't know anything cute to put on it)

Another option would be to get limeade powder at a bulk store, and put that and a scoop in a mason jar.

I just looked at the link.  That is a really neat idea, and unique!  My colors will be a pale green and this would be a really cool favor.  If anyone can figure out how to make it please post!  =o)
