Flip flops for girls - - what for guys?

I am planning on having a basket in the ladies bathroom full of flip flops in our wedding colors! That way everyone can dance the night away, with no worries. I was wondering if anyone had any good ideas for something I can put in the mens bathroom?

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, but I'm not a fan.  As an adult, I'm responsible for my own attire, including footwear.  I wear flip flops from about April-October.  I love them.

But....I can only wear good ones (not the $1 from Old Navy) ones, and I would never, ever wear them with dressy clothing, and I would never wear unbroken in ones for hours to dance in.  Just giving you my perspective on this.

Further, while your younger guests might wear flip flops, it's hardly a favor for Aunt Edna, who I'm guessing will not be wearing them.  And.......what happens to the guest who MIGHT want them, but gets to the basket late, and there's no size left for her?

Have the flip flop basket if you must.  But please don't consider it a favor.  Because it's not.  As for the men....I've got nothing.

    I'd rethink this idea.

Yeah, I could never dance in flip flops.  It's gotta be my heels or barefeet.  I agree with Trix about the size issue, seems like a nightmare to have the right ones for each person.  But if you like it and think it will be hit go for it.  However, why are the favors in the bathroom?  Is there going to be an announcement to please report to the restrooms to pick up your favors?  I have no thoughts on something for the guys.

What would be the reason why you would want to have your guests wear flip flops? How does a guest wear flip flops if she is wearing panty hose. Why would a guest what to wear flip flops if she is all dressed up? Flip flops are not secure footwear and can be dangerous. Do you want to be liable for that? Dancing in flip flops can be dangerous. I would not take a pair of flip flops from a bathroom and wear them.

Went to a wedding this weekend that had the flipflops and it was such a hit. I love mine and have worn them every day since. Most all the women wore them and adored the cute idea.

I actually like the idea of having them for guests, but I wouldn't consider this your favor as PP's said many people may not even wear them.  If you want to have some for people, great but I think a favor for everyone is still appreciated and favors should be at guests seats or on a designated table... not in the restrooms!

I think the flip flop idea is great. i always go out dancing in my flip flops (no joke) they are the most comfy things i have - i just can't make it through an entire night in high heels, so my friends and i always carry a pair of flip flops in our purses. better than getting more blisters. ouch!

For guys? hmmm some spray cologne or breath mints? haha. not sure

And there exactly is my point.  When did it become the bride and groom's responsibility to provide footwear for their guests?  If I'm going somewhere where my feet will get too tired to be in heels all night, it's MY responsibility to make the necessary accommodations.  I'm all for making your guests comfortable, but I just don't get that the B&G need to make sure that attire is taken care of as well.

That's like saying that it might be cool with the air conditioning, so I'm going to also have a basket of pashminas in varying colors lest the guests get chilly.  Where exactly does personal responsibility come into play?

Providing blankets is actually pretty common for receptions where it might get chilly.

Cheap cologne?!  please don't. Unless of course you are also willing to supply tissues and allergy pills as your additional "favor"
