Opinion on our favors please!?!?!?

We're planning on giving our guests monogrammed sugar cookies and a personalized wedding coloring book. I know the adults will love the book because i've asked some of them, and most of them are kids at heart and love to color at their age. :) i mean seriously, even my FI wants one at our head table for him to color on.. lol do you ladies think its a good idea? and im not sure if i should give out crayons too or just give the crayons to the children?

Give crayons to the adults, too. I know a lot of adults that like to color. What a cute, fun idea for favors.

instead of buying crayons for everyone, why not buy some cute little cups that match your decor and just have a variety of crayons at the middle of each table?? Cute idea, by the way!

Definitely give out crayons.  You can buy a giant thing of like 300 crayons and put a couple in little bags to save money.  I would totally colour at the wedding, but probably wouln't later.

I would find that odd and would prefer to socialize and dance, but if you know that it will work for your crowd, go for it!

I hate to go against the grain... but I wouldn't color.

I think its a great idea for the kids as its something to keep them occupied, but I would want the adults at my wedding to socialize and talk at their tables -- not looking down, quietly coloring....

That is a very different dea and if you love it, go for it.  I am 32 and I keep a box of crayons and coloring book in my desk.  It is a huge stress reliever - AND it has helped me quit my smoking habit.  Definitely give them crayons in addition to the cb.

while I find it odd... its still kinda cute! and I think its something guests can enjoy doing while there's those dreaded moments of "waiting". LOL. great idea~!

If it works for your group go for it. I'd prefer to dance, drink and socialize.

I'd worry about guests "coloring under the influence" and the type of rude things that might be drawn. But i'd soo color, especially under the influence. :)
