Shutterfly Guestbook

I have finished my shutterfly guestbook and would like some input. Is it missing anything? Too many pics? Not enough? Is there enough room for people to sign their names or write messages?

I love it! I think it looks fantastic! The themed pages is nice because it will be a wonderful keep sake for you.

One question, Are you okay with people signing on all the pages? I know I saw one bride who had lined pages for where she wanted people to sign and the other pages were pictures. If it doesn't matter to you then I think it looks great.

My only issue is with the background colors/patterns on some of the pages.  If they are dark colors, or really busy, it is going to be difficult to write on them/or see what people have written.

Also, the Shutterfly photobook we ordered for our flower girl had shiny pages.  Make sure you have pens that will not smear!
My baby girl is a married woman...and now my baby girl HAS a baby girl. Time unfolds in such an amazing way. I've been blessed!

I do have a few suggestions, mainly because I just finished designing ours last night so I've got photo books on the brain!  Get ready, this is going to be a long post, LOL.

First, I have to agree with PP, the dark colors and busy patterns are going to make it really difficult to read what people write.  Since it is a guest book after all, I would go with white backgrounds.  Or if you must have color, then solid pastel colors.

Second, I think you've got WAY too many pages!  I suppose it depends how many people attend your wedding but I've been to two weddings where the couple did a photobook guest book and neither one was very full with signatures at the end of the night.  IMO, it's a little boring to see a guest book mostly empty.  For this reason, I went with just a 20 page book for our 100-120 guest wedding.  Hopefully it will be nice and full!

Finally, and this is totally an issue of taste, but it looks very scrapbook-y.  If that's what you want, then by all means, go for it!  I decided to go with a very classic, simple design because this is going to be a lifelong keepsake, and I want to love it 50 years from now as much as I do today.  Tastes change over time, and you may not love this design on your 20th anniversary, know what I mean?  But that is entirely your call.

I found some excellent design inspiration on www.mypublisher.com, and that's where I ended up ordering mine from.  There's a link to my book in my bio under DIY if you care.  Good luck!
