It worked out $0.87 per favor (which included the tulle, the two aluminum gold rings, and the thank you card, as well as the indian candle)

    This was for 300 people.

    = $261

I had champagne favors and they were $1.75 each (not including the cost of decoration with labels and ribbon).  I made 100 of them.  I also had a candy buffet.  This was way too much money on favors and I don't recommend it.  If I had it to do over, I would probably just do the candy buffet.

I haven't figured out my Candy buffet cost yet but I'm getting the containers free from my florist for the night.  The table favor is $1.37 each. I'm making vintage hairflowers for the girls at about $2.00 each (50 or so).  I have 135 invited.

We are doing caramel apples...about $3.25 each, with around 175 guests = $570. Expensive yes, but we budgeted for these favors because they are so freaking delicious. My mouth is watering just thinking about them....mmmmmmm!

We made homemade chocolate covered pretzels.  We only had 1 left behind.  Many people ate them at the reception which was fine by me.  I think it cost about $60 for the pretzels, chocolate, ribbon, and plastic bags for 100 people.

We are doing a bottle of wine with a custom label on them and a little box of jordan almonds. We are figuring about $5.00 a person with 175 guests.

We had about 200 people and probably spent around $40 to $50 on favors.

We bought pretzel rods and dipped them in chocolate.  Each guest got two pretzel rods.  One dipped in white chocolate and rolled in crushed oreos, and one dipped in milk chocolate and rolled in chocolate sprinkles.

It took about 4 hours to make 400.

I bought bags from hobby lobby to put the pretzels in (50 bags for about $2) and bought ribbon in our wedding colors when it was 1/2 price at Hobby Lobby.

There wasn't a single bag of pretzels left by the end of the night.

We purchased 5 of the favor kits in the shape of a goblet at Wal-Mart. They each had 24 goblets in them. It came with the tulle circles, ribbon for tying them & the favor tags. We filled them with our wedding color M&M's and printed the tags at home. I think the kits were $20 each and the M&M's were probably $50 or so. I would say about $150-$175 for everything.

We could have probably done it a cheaper way but since I didn't have time for a lot of DIY, that was the best way to go for us. And they still took about 3 hours to fill & tie all of them.

We ended up with an actual favor and a favorish table cards.
for the favor we did little boxes of hersheys hugs and kisses 100 guests x ~$0.50 = $51.00
and for the table cards we did decks of playing cards with a leaf attached (with their name and table number one it) 100 guests x 2.80 = $280.00

We are having homemade strawberry jam which we put into 4 oz. baby food jars, put a square of fabric over the lid, & tying the favor tag on fabric on with a piece of raffia.  It cost 35 cents a favor - 150 favors = $53.  Those savings allowed me to splurge on glass coasters that will double as escort cards for the wedding

$1 a piece. I bought little black 2x3 frames. It'll have double use for the reception for an escort card, but then it's a favor because they can use it as a picture frame. My photographer plans to go around and get pictures of each couple/group that is attending and I will mail a 2x3 photo of them from the wedding with our thank you cards.

I went to the Dollar Tree and bought about 135 wine glasses, than went to Joann's and bought a bunch of glass paint for under $20. Me and my family and my FI's family had a blast painting them in all sorts of fun designs!

Right now we're planning on doing hand-painted mugs, which I can order wholesale through a connection. It costs $2.50 / per + shipping for 35 guests (we're doing a hot chocolate bar instead of a candy bar and we've arranged for them all to be washed at the end of the night.)

Not sure if everyone is aware of this, but you can get little personalized stickers to put on the bottom of your hershey kisses and they can include your picture and special msg....too cute!  I found these on <a href="http://www.perfectwrappers.com/">www.PerfectWrappers.com</a> and they're very affordable!

We did two York Peppermint Patties (FI and I's favorite candy) per favor - we bought the candy at Sam's Club, so I think it came out to under $30 total for candy and packaging!

We did wine bottles from Trader Joes - 1 bottle per couple.  $3 each x 88 bottles = $264.  Got cute labels from www.weddingdivas.com for $30.  And then put some cute ribbon from the Dollar Tree on top - 8 rolls - $1 each.  Total spent = $302
