Sweedish Fish??

What do you think of doing a giant fish bowl full of sweedish fish for a favor?

First, the plan was to do a candy buffet, but I realized that it just costs too much.  Second, I was going to do individual favors, but have no idea was to do.  Third, a lot of people that I have been talking to say "Don't waste your time or money on favors."  So, I was thinking of doing a giant fish bowl (FI and my favorite past time) and putting sweedish fish in it.  If I do that, do you have a cute message to put by it that would be cute and/or a thank you to the guests?

    Could you package Swedish Fist individually for each guest?  Or maybe put a bowl or two of swedish fish on each table?  I think one giant, communal bowl of swedish fish has the potential for getting gross.  Tons of people sticking their hands into one bowl would creep me out, personally.  I like the idea, but I think should try to do it on a smaller scale.

    I'd say go for the individual packets.  It would be more sanitary.

    Not sure how you'd do it, but I'd try to make little individual servings where it looks like they are caught in a fishing net. Maybe bundles with tule?

    The idea is cute, especially if it really represents you and your fiance.

    In terms of a saying.....maybe "Two less fish in the pond", or "Love is the biggest catch"
