Custom Wine Glasses

One of my best friends got married a couple years ago and had personalized wine glasses as her wedding favors.     Vendors are not permitted on these boards, no matter how coyly they try to pretend that they're not.

    FWIW:  I would leave behind a wine glass personalized with someone else's name and wedding date on it.  I can't imagine ever using them in my home or for a dinner party that I was hosting.

    Exactly. I think they're tacky and a bit ego-centric to think that someone else wants your name on a glass.

    What the hell would I want with a wine glass that has someone else's name on it?? 
    If I got that at a wedding, it would go directly in the trash can once I got home.

    I wouldnt even bother to take it home.... trash is always left on the table for the wait staff to clear away....

    Guess it would actually be a favor for the B & G cause after the wedding they would have a ton of personalized wine glasses!
