Our wedding isn't for about 4 more months, but one of my favor options is DIY so I wanted to decide soon. Which of these would you prefer for a wedding favor? (I know a favor is not required but my FI and I would like to have them).
Option #1: I have a ton of glass baby food jars I saved from my daughter. I would put a tealight in each one, and decorate with a ribbon around the neck, tied in a bow. And on the ribbon would hang a snowflake cut out from my Cricut. (Winter wedding). There would be no personalization on the candle, just the decorations. If it looked too plain, I would cover the jar with some lace fabric.
Option #2: Have a cookie table with little bags/containers for guests to take home cookies as their favor. The wedding is not for 4 more months and I have already had so many offers to make cookies that I know we will have too many. There are 6 aunts and about 14 cousins on my FI's side that are avid bakers; every wedding I went to with my FI always had sooo many cookies left over because of this. Also, my grandmas, aunts, and cousins have also offered. If we do this, I would make some cookies to use as well.
Which would you prefer? Thanks!!

Re: Favor Opinion-down to 2 options
[QUOTE]Definitely the cookies! In all honesty, no one is going to be thrilled with a tea light in a baby food jar. Cookies? Definitely a thrill factor there.

Even though you worked really hard on the babyfood/candle pieces, it would go straight to the trash can at home. It's just clutter and not useful to anyone.
(Though I think it's a very cute idea and involves your daughter a bit. It would still be clutter in my home.)
