Mason Jar Mugs

My first post, I believe!
So, I need some creative help lol.

My fiancee and I have a 'cruising song' that we love to drive to. It's Metallica's 'Whiskey in the Jar" so I want to have a signature cocktail for cocktail hour. It will involve some spin on a whiskey sour with a splash of ice tea to make it look like 'whiskey'. We'll serve it in the mason jar mugs with handles.
Now, here'es my dilemma: If I'm spending $100 on mason jar mugs, I'd really like them to double as favors.
Would you, as a guest, be a bit 'miffed' if you received your cocktail in
the mug, which has a pretty label on the handle with friendly instructions to please keep and enjoy the mug? Here's the clincher: Our venue does not have kitchen facilities so it is your unwashed mug that you're taking home.

HELP! i desperately want to do this!!!! And ideas on how to orchestrate this is greatly appreciated. Again, it's hard as I want to present the signature drink in the mugs and give them as favors.
What if I keep paper bags in a basket to keep them in til its time to go home?
Thanks!

If it had a label and I knew it was my favor, it wouldn't bother me at all.

I don't think its a big deal.  In fact I was trying to come up with something similar.  Except that our venue doesn't allow hard liquor just beer, wine and champagne.  I like that you will put a signature drink in yours (or they don't have to and just take the jar home too).

I'm thinking maybe have the mug filled with candies or something.  Or making some strawberry and rasberry jam (homemade) but that's a lot of work lol.

That is a great idea!  I had thought of ordering personalized pint glasses...but thought it was cheesy...this gives a nice touch, and works for a country/relaxed theme!

Thanks, guys! I figure I can't go wrong if I include the paper bags.
