My FI's last name is Jordan and since we'll be the Jordans I wanted to give out boxed Jordan Almonds as favors.  My sister/MOH and a few others think it's lame and old fashioned, I think it's cute.  Not sure what to do...

    I think it is a really cute idea. A little cheesy (in a good way) but that's okay if you and you FI like it. My FI would be head over heels for an idea like this if our last name would work.

    Maybe you can add a little note on them "As a thank you for sharing in our special day, here are some jordans from the Jordans!"  That will allow people to realize why you chose that for the favor, rather than cause you were being "old fashioned."

    I agree with Shortee... I think its a very cute idea and also agree that maybe a little hint as to why you chose them wouldn't hurt.
