mini candy jar favors

Hello, i usually post on the NJ board but figured you could be a huge help here.

We want to do mini candy jars and fill them with jelly bellys. All of the ones i have read the dimensions online for seem so small. anyone doing these or received them as a favor?

one sight said the jar held 70 jelly beans but it just seems really tiny.

I think 70 jelly beans is plenty. It's just a favor so it doesn't have to be huge and elaborate.

Ditto matilda. 70 jelly beans should be quite enough for a favor.

for a mini jar 70 jelly beans is a lot. So the way I am understanding this is you are going to buy 200 or so of these jars and fill them with 70 jelly beans? I think that is plenty.

If the jar looks to small to hold the 70 jelly beans that the jar says it can hold, get a sample jar! Sometimes online pictures & descriptions can be very misleading.

Try calling customer service and request a sample jar. Alot of companies will send you a free sample, all you have to do is ask!

Sometimes you have to pay shipping for the free sample, but it is well worth it to see the jar in person and make an educated guess opposed to just going by what you see online.

70 seems like an okay amount. I just read a post of someone doing a candy buffet and  saw this link of their post:

they have small ones here that i think will hold a few more if ur concerned about the amount.

    Good luck! :)
