Candy Buffet and a favor?

We are doing a candy buffet for fun because both my FI and I LOVE candy and all our guests know that!
If we have a candy buffet, do you think we should supply additional favors in apprciation of guests attending or is the buffet enough?
We were going to add gerbera daisy kits from http://www.plantamemory.com (one per couple) or just the seeds (one per person) to go along with the candy buffet.
Is that too much?

i think people usually do the candy bar as a favor,i did a candy station plus a few other favors just because i wanted to, so it depends on your budget and what you want to do, if it isnt in your budget then the candy ststaion is fine.

I agree with the prior poster. If you wanted to add a favor, tie it into the candy buffet & supply small mason jars with the lids. You could put a label of some type on the mason jar, and they can take their candy home in it.

Get the SMALL mason jars, so they don't clean you out of candy! Plus, you get more per case, and they end up being lower priced. If the mason jars are too casual for you, there are other jars you can get in bulk, but I find Mason jars to be useful around the house, so it might mean more to the guests as something they will re-use

    Good luck.

I would just do the candy buffett. I think the seeds sound like a nice idea but how many people would actually go home and plant them?

No, a candy buffet is enough.  I did table favors as well and it's not worth it--people love the candy buffet.

The candy buffet is plenty.  No need for other favors that will probably just be tossed anyway.

My FI and I are planning to use our candy buffet as the favor. I have heard that people love it! An idea my mom had that we are going with as well is to not just do candy . . we are going to do some peanuts or trail mix. i think its a nice idea because not everyone looks candy like we do.

I am also doing a candy buffet.  I will also be doing an additional favor, but that is just because I wanted a favor that my friends and family will be able to keep and actually use.  If it is not in your budget then just do the candy and provide nice favor bags or something like that for the guest to take some home with them.  The knot has a lot of good pictures also you can google candy bars/buffet pictures.
