Candy?

We are having an outdoor wedding so I was going to give out fans and we are having a sparkler send off so I was also going to get matchboxes, but I wanted to do something edible without breaking the bank. I was thinking about caramel apples since the wedding is late September but it really has nothing to do with our theme. Any ideas?

    I think I would stay away from anything already sticky like the caramel apples and anything chocolate that could melt while sitting outside.  

    Maybe use cookies, scones, biscuits, or some other pastry.  If your theme is even remotely southern like your location I would totally do biscuits, maybe with tiny jars of jam or honey.  You could make the biscuits, buy little jars, such as baby food jars, and fill them with strawberry, raspberry, and grape jams to match your colors.
