In Need of Some Creativity

So I'm planning to get "chair" shaped favor boxes that double as placecard holder. The box is 1.5 inches on every side. I have many people coming from out of town. I could keep it easy and just do candy inside but doesn't anyone have any useful items that would fit in the box but also have a purpose? Its going to be silver with a dark purple ribbon. I've included a picture of the box and the box has to close. Any creative ideas?

  • I vote for candy.  While a survival travel size item is a nice gesture, I'm sure most of your guests would have packed appropriately for the trip and if they forgot something can easily stop at the store.   Besides that, I don't think much would fit in the box besides a cotton ball or a tiny lip balm (which I'm sure most of the men would not enjoy!)

What kind of candy would you recommend. My wedding is outside and it will be in the heat and sun.

Saltwater taffy?  Hard candies?  Jordan almonds?   After dinner mints?  Jelly beans? Anything non-chocolate would be fine.

  • Some bakeries also have mini-cookies that would possibly fit.  But otherwise do a hard candy or something that won't melt.
  • I think candy would be the best bet plus everyone likes edibles.  I found a wonderful website that provides inspiration images of favors and candy bars and where to purchase products to get that dream image. Check it out and good luck!

  • janegoodey - apparently you missed the pesky little part of the terms of service where vendors arent allowed to advertise on the boards.  How can you trust a vendor who can't follow rules?  All of your posts advertise the website in your post.

    reported.
