My real B&M is a "White People Problem" that I'm going to keep to myself because it's pretty ridiculous.
My secondary B&M is that the owner of our company who makes the coffee every morning was told by his doctor to switch to decaf, and he has been doing this a week without telling anyone. That's why my head has been hurting....

My mother doesn't like her seat for the ceremony. I made it to where all parents/grandparents could go on the first row. 

She didn't like that. Her solution? "Your dad can sit behind me." Really? This whole thing is so she doesn't get offended about being on the second row. Now, she thinks she gets to spit on that idea and dictate where everyone sits. 

She's going to sit on the second row. 

Cwaggoner-Your first problem wouldn't have anything to do with make-up would it?

I have a funny story from the mall from the MAC make-up store.

Oh yeah, I teach mostly Honors, plus I threaten my kids with penalties worse than death if they misbehave, so I'm not worried about the sub.  The guy I got for today is even certified.  I'm more worried because I went ahead and let them do the next day of a lab, and it involves using corn syrup.  I'm mostly worried about the mess they'll make.  Not even intentionally, but kids have a tendency to just spill things and leave them because, "Hey, not my house."

I've got to get moving.  I want to be on the road soon.

I hate traffic.  HATE HATE HATE.  Although, I don't know many people that love it.  Take that back... I know nobody that loves it.

I have scheduled a Bride & Groom session with the McGowans tomorrow - and I am so pumped!  My wedding was 10 months ago, and I'm so excited to put the dress on again!

Had the worst fight with my FI this past week...its just made every day since then a bit harder, which is why I haven't been on in a few days. Learning to be serious in a relationship is much harder than I realized as my independent nature seems to shy away from it. Plus after some fiasco yesterday my FI hates my very good job that is very beneficial to us and wants me to quit because they treat me like crap....hard trade off for good money. Here's to hoping for a better week!

rose - I'm so sorry! I sort of know what you're going through... it took me forever to learn to communicate with FI. Every other relationship I had I always had the upper hand, so to speak, and he was the first person to challenge that, and I ended up pouting a lot when I didn't get my way. Not saying that you're like this... but we had major growing pains our first few years together, mostly because of me!

It will get better!

We're taking them at the Trinity Park Train Station (or something like that?) across from Botanic Gardens.  I'm pumped.

On a related note, I want to get my hair curled... not styled, just curls.  Anyone know where I can get that done relatively cheap?

I have nothing to B&M about really. I got most of my wedding "to do" list narrowed down this week, while I deep cleaned the entire house (or attempted to, there's new muddy paw prints on my freshley mopped kitchen floor)

That's how I have felt as we get closer. I am going to enjoy being done with planning (which should be done come Wednesday when my girl at the Magnolia sends my final BEO my way.) At this point I refuse to try and please anyone and will be trying to relax and prep for 12 days from now.

I totally feel like this too, with both my parents and FIs parents, having to do all the communicating between everyone.... it's exhausting to be the only one making an effort. Fingers crossed that it gets better for you!

also thought I would add this little gem of a story just in case anyone else thinks its as hilarious as I do...

so... when we picked our wedding date of course we asked around to immediate family to make sure no one had anything major going on and we chose our date accordingly

well now i'm getting calls to change the ceremony time to earlier in the evening and here's why...

my future nephew in law is graduating/walking for his Masters degree the Sunday after my wedding (yes, SUNDAY).  he/they never mentioned it because he never planned on walking (he's going on to get his Ph.D) but apparently he changed his mind once he found out that Catie Couric was going to be giving the commencement speech.  yes, you heard that correctly.  so now... my future SIL including all of her family have to piece out early from our wedding; and its all because of Catie Couric.  lmao.  while it is frustrating, its also a little hilarious.
