Favor opinion

We think we picked what our favors are going to be.  We wanted practical, but not edible because we're having plenty of food, plus cookie trays, plus we're having Hershey Kisses on all the tables & bowls of them on the cake table (for decoration & people to eat) anyway............they are little notebooks and pens.  I think they look cute.  They're engraved with our names/date, etc......Who couldn't use a pen & paper right?  We already know that probably nobody would keep them "forever"(except us), just use them & then throw out when empty.  What do you think?

Sorry, not a fan.  First, a little notebook seems pretty useless for me in this age of palm pilots.  And then, I'm not a fan of other people's names on my things.

I agree with the PP.  I cannot remember the last time I actually used a note pad...

I acutally use the little notepads with magnets on the back. I stick them on the fridge and use them to mark down a grocery list when I run out of something. That I would take with me and use.  I don't use notepads without the magnets though; I would probably leave those at the reception.

That would probably just become another piece of junk at the bottom of my purse or in a drawer in my house that eventually gets thrown away.

I would totally use it!  That's me though.  Some of your guests will, some won't!  If you think it's worth the price and worth having some (perhaps plenty!) possibly left at the tables, go for it!
