What date to put on favor

My fiance and I are going to be  married next week at the courthouse. We are flying back home to CT to have a wedding celebration in May and I was wondering if I put my wedding date on the favors or the celebration date? HELP!!!! lol

I think the celebration date would be fine with a note attached saying thank you for joining our celebration.
