reno and maryland themed favors

I just got engaged, and am looking for ideas for the favors.  I am Maryland, and have tons of great ideas for that, but my fiance is from Reno, Nevada.  I want to do something unique to that area but not necessarily casino/vegas themed.  Any ideas?

    I could be wrongm, but it's there mountians in Reno? I swore when I was there I saw mountians out my hotel window. Anyway if so what about something to do with that?

    oh yeah!  and i think mining used to be really big there .... i could do something with that .... like mini fake silver flakes or something ..... great idea!  thanks!
