Seed Matchbooks?

http://www.i-do-it-yourself.com/2010/04/diy-seed-matchbook-favors/
The link above is what I'm referring to. Are these a good choice for favors? I'm worried about chocolate (which was my original thought) in July, getting them to the reception venue without them melting and so forth. Would people appreciate the seed packets or just throw away ASAP?Whats your thoughts.

I have mixed emotions. I think they are kind of cute, but I am not into gardening, so I wouldn't have much use for them.

[QUOTE]I wouldn't use it, and I have a fairly large garden. I don't like wildflowers- they take over everything. People like my brother definitely wouldn't use it, not would most of my apartment-dwelling friends. I'd go for something edible. We used the same basic DIY though to make mint matchbooks. They folded up like a matchbook, but they had scotch mints inside for after dinner. We wrote a thank you note on the covers. I would agree with the comment above. I personally live with my FI in an apartment so this would not work for us and a lot of our friends are in the same position. I know personally most guys might not enjoy this favor but the women might. Just a suggestion but you might want to find something a little more geared to everyone unless it really has meaning to you and your FI.
