Ok so are you supposed to do favors for the people that come to your shower?

In my area, favors are typically given at bridal showers.  They are usually simple and related to the theme of the shower.  We have had large cut-out bakery cookies, shoe shaped chocolates, and a simple candy buffet.
  • Hi there!

Yes, I definitely think it's nice to give something to guests on their way out from the shower. Typically, the hostess is in charge of purchasing the favors. I found a great website that provides inspiration images and where to buy products, they have a great favor section. Check it out and good luck!

  • I threw a shower with some bridesmaids and someone else did the favors- small potted plants with a ribbon in the wedding colors around it. I thought they were cute except she wrote the bride and grooms name on it, so I just slid the ribbon down haha :)
  • Usually, here, showers have favors for people to take home.  Showers tend to be something for the fridge with the brides name on it and the date of the shower.  You don't have to though.

  • janegoodey - apparently you missed the pesky little part of the terms of service where vendors arent allowed to advertise on the boards.  How can you trust a vendor who can't follow rules?  All of your posts advertise the website in your post.
