How far in advance to buy chocolate favors?

I was just wondering if it's too far in advance to buy chocolate favors (mini candy bars) for my August wedding. The kind that I want is on sale right now so I'd like to take this opportunity to scoop them up. As long as I store them somewhere at room temperature, I figured they'd be fine (I mean, they're probably doing the same in some warehouse where they're being stored right now, right?!). Any thoughts on this or do you think they would get stale?

Yep, they'll be fine. Just don't take them out of their wrapper.

I think they'll be fine. If you're worried, maybe put them in your freezer and take them out the day before???

If you do this, there is a chance that the chocolate will get white splotches on it from the drastic change in temperature and humidity. Room temperature or a cool room, like a basement should be fine.
