I've debated on even doing favors bc my opinion is it usually is a waste of money. I've been to lots of weddings and have not kept a single favor.
That being said I've decided to go with edible. What do you think of fortune cookies, they can be dipped in chocolate in the color of your wedding and you can pick the fortunes all to be about love? (oh and sprinkles on them to)

I love fortune cookies and I do not think they need to tie into your wedding. Having them dipped in chocolate the colors of your wedding ties in enough. Even just regular and white chocolate would be fine. go for it
