Candy Bar-Refills?

I am having a candy bar and starting to buy the containers for it and think about what candy I want in it. For the larger candy pieces, lollipops, rock candy, that sort of thing, did you just put it in a smaller container and then keep more somewhere (under the table?) that someone could refill it with? It seems with 150 people, I wouldn't be able to keep enough of the large candy on the table. I do have a wedding planner that day that could probably do it, but I wanted to see what the consensus was here first. Are you having it all laid or having the jars refilled?

My plan is to have most of the candy out on the table. I will have a small amount under the table just in case I need to refill it.

If your venue has a banquet staff, you might be able to ask if they can have someone to keep it full. They might charge a small fee, but that way you wouldn't have to worry with it.

That's a good idea! I'll have to talk with my coordinator and see if she or the staff would do it for me. I just got the dimension that the table will be and it looks like I have more room than I thought so hopefully everything will just fit on the table...I'll just have to buy more containers now...mixed blessing!!
