Hey gals-- I need some advice on a DIY, cheap, Gift bag. I usually post on Boston's site, but would love some ideas. Did you buy stickers and place them on the bag? Did you cut out a design and reprint? Anything would be helpful. Thanks
Our guests have varying travel plans (plane, bus, car, train) that we're doing reusable black and white bags that I purchsed right here on The Knot. I got them during the big sale a few weeks ago. They are just the right size to add the few little "local" things we're adding (maps, Canadian quarter with poppy centre, Canadian beer from local brewery, individual serving bottle of Canadian maple syrup, etc).
I used gable boxes and purchased the tag and ribbon from Etsy. Everything I put in there was used over the weekend (snacks, Kleenix, itinerary) so there was nothing to take home. PIB.
Re: Out OF Town Gift Bags
I'm using regular gift bags. I would hate to buy baskets or boxes and our guest flying have to throw out because they won't fit in the luggage.
You really don't need to add anything if you donj't want a handwritten note to your guests will be fine.
