B&M Monday

Ikea makes me unhappy.  The desk I want to purchase from them is perfect for my needs.  It was out-of-stock when we went and per their website, it was supposed to be delivered to the store sometime this week.  Then it was changed to sometime between this Thursday and next Thursday.  Now it basically says they have no idea.  Awesome.

This isn't so much a B&M as much as it is a WTF?! 

So, both this week and last week during one of my loads of laundry, I'll go to change it from the washer to the dryer and the washer door is already up. The timer says "off" but the things inside are still dripping wet. 

So either I'm not closing the top..or the apartment is haunted. I don't know which....

Ditto.  I really wanted to just curl up and sleep for an extra hour.

However, I have zero reason to complain.  A very dear friend of mine who has sort of "raised me" as a teacher had two heart attacks over Labor Day weekend and today was his first day back.  He doesn't even look different.  The first thing he said to me this morning was that he'd gotten our invite and was so happy to come.  His daughter, who is a sophomore at our school, organized a "Welcome Back!" party for him, and it was just great to see all those teachers and students getting up early to greet such an important member of our campus.

I dont have anything to complain about. I applied for my passport on August the 30th.... It came in the mail today (FI is the mailman) THATS LESS THAN 2 WEEKS!!! Sorry I am kinda excited.

I think i've gotten like 10 hours of sleep in the past three days...combined.

I'm running on empty. I'm ready to go home and take a nap.

I'm glad your friend/co-worker is doing better! That's awesome news!

Courtney, our dog ate m&m's all the time.. Lived to be about 13-14. While chocolate isnt good for dogs, I think its the bakers chocolate you have to worry about. But I would still watch then for a few days.

Boy, I am right there with you.  I can't sleep anymore-- I keep waking up at 2 or 4 am and staying awake for hours!  I am so tired, I am nervous I am getting sick--and the wedding is in 12 days!  Yikes.
