Lanterns with flowers for centerpieces?

Hello! Im getting married in November in NJ at a hotel indoors (both ceremony and reception). I am thinking of using lanterns to line the aisle during the ceremony and then use as centerpieces. Inside the lanterns I will have a candle and flowers to add some color. (my bridesmaid dresses are black). My question is: does anyone have any suggestions of flowers that are inexpensive for the inside of the lanterns (that would work well with the candle) I would like to use the same flowers used in the lanterns for bouquets. Thanks!

Here is a link to the type of lanterns i am thinking about (minus the horizontal lines)

I'd suggest something snazzy like a couple of Cymbidium orchid or big open lily blossoms... Or maybe a spider mum or a dark centered Gerber or

    dahlia... something showy!
    love those lanterns!
