Multicolored wedding flowers?

I'm planning my wedding for April 21st, and I guess the theme of my wedding is color.  There are six in the wedding party - three girls and three guys - and they're all wearing a different color - pink, yellow, orange, green, blue, purple.  I'm going for pastel colors so we don't have a "gay pride" wedding.  ;-)

But what the heck do I do with my flowers?  I don't like tulips as a bouquet, and I'm afraid gerber daisies will be too bright, though I do want color - I don't want to go all white.  Maybe I do.  Help!

Since you are having all of your girls in different colors then I would stick with once color for the bouquet...most likely white...this way the flowers will not get lost in the sea of colors.  You can always wrap the bouquet stem in a coordinating color with each girls dress just to add a touch of color or you could have your florist add a touch of bling with colored rhinestones to coordinate with the dress color.

If you don't like tulips then don't have them.  Gerber daisies in white are really pretty...you can also choose just about any other flower because almost all flowers come in white (peonies, roses, freesia, alstromeria, dendrobium orchids, stock, lisianthus, hydrangea, etc)

Here's a suggestion, pink and white,yellow and white, orange and white, green and white, blue and white, purple and white.  That is mostly white with a touch of the colour.  Stick to one flower type, like roses, which come in all those colours.  Problem solved.  Remember, less is more.  Bunches Bob

I just have to share that I am getting married on April 21st and doing a pastel rainbow wedding as well. I have pink, blue, yellow, purple and green. I was going to post something similar because I am now looking into flowers. An idea I had thought of was having the bridesmaids flowers all white and then make mine a colorful arrangement of the flowers in my wedding. Good luck with planning your wedding and only 4 1/2 months to go!

This. It will tie everyone together well without ruining your colour theme/motif. If you are dead set against this, carnations have some lovely pastel colours and are super inexpensive.
