Flowers

gerbera daisies/wedding colors

Hi Ladies,
I am getting married October 2011 in NYC. I love gerbera daisies and want to use them as my primary flower. However, I'm having trouble selecting my colors. Because its a fall wedding I don't really want to use pink and orange. My original ideas were navy and orange or navy and brown but I'm afraid that those combos will clash with the gerbs.
I would appreciate any ideas!!

Gerbs come in red, white, yellow, orange, pink, peach; and different shades within each color.  Google gerbera daisies and you'll find lots of pics listed.  I'm getting married 10/2/10 and am using them witih my colors of champagne, chocoloate brown and claret.

Like PP said, you can get them in many colors, and coordinate them to whatever colors you want.  We used hot pink gerbs for my wedding, and mixed them hot pink roses, and they looked awesome.

Mine are blue and orange ( but my wedding is in spring.) and I plained on using gerber daisies for my MOH and my bouqutes.

    I agree with Neeter

dress color?  pick that first. If it is Navy you can put any color with it as navy is considered a nuetral color.

I attached a picture of how my maids' flowers will look. I too am having an October wedding (Oct. 2nd, 2010) and my colors are Red and Pink. My bouquet will be red, pink and white roses. My girls will carry Gerbera Daisies.
