Hey everyone! I have a question about the flowers for the aisle and the flower girl. I am getting married outside in May, and the woman who is basically our wedding coordinator at the location said not to buy real flowers to line the aisle with, because they would wilt. She also said the flower girl should toss silk petals and not real ones. I have a few concerns about this. I understand that they would wilt if we put them outside hours in advance, but i'm thinking they would be okay if they were put there just an hour in advance. Is that correct? And will people notice that they aren't real flowers? Will it look cheesy? And do we then have to find someone to run around outside and pick up all the fake flowers? Real ones could be left outside, but i dont like the idea of asking a relative to pick up hundreds of fake flowers. I guess maybe the location would take care of that. Has any one else getting married outside been told to use silk flowers instead of real ones? And do you think it will look okay with fake ones?
