floating flowers

I'm thinking about ordering Gerber Daisies in bulk and floating them in a bowl of water as an affordable centerpiece for my wedding.  Has anyone ever used gerber daisies to float?  or does anyone recommend better flower options to use to float?  Thanks!

Gerbers should work fine for floating blooms, they like lots of water. You could always buy a few at the grocery store, and practice with them at home, to see how they do.
