I got up early this morning to shower and I was going to take Copper out first. I called him and he looked at me like "You know it's too early for this..." 

Also, I spoke to the office about the smoking lady. Her response? "Well,She can smoke in her apartment..." No options, no solutions. No nothing. So she can smoke in her apartment and I have to smell it in mine. I'm peeved.

Oh crash...that sucks!! I can only imagine how awful that is, I hate sitting behind a car that's smoking, as I can usually smell that! DH started a new job our first day back from the honeymoon and we've had his son everyday but one this last week and a half. But for the next three days, I have the house to myself, and I'm super excited to get some things done!!

I woke up this morning with my abs hurting from laughing so much last night... awesome

Also, SO EXCITED because my boss brought his baby to the office today! Can't wait to finally hold her!

Crash I love your pictures...........

Well I had oral surgery again last Thursday and I have been in pain since.. aghhh...

GOing to Chicago for a day tomorrow and then on Saturday celebrating my Non-wedding day with some wine and good friends!

By the way I found pout yesterday that the restaurant where I was going to have my reception closed down... Too bad cause food was awesome!

Any way through all this I am grateful to have my fur babies that kept me company and showered me with love and attention during my recovery.

Now back to work

Sad news - My sweet Great Uncle died yesterday and it was fairly unexpected. Between a stroke a couple of weeks ago and a subsequent bout with severe pneumonia it was just all too much for him.  He was my Dad's favorite uncle and the only great uncle I was close to.  He and his wife have been married for 60 or so years and my heart aches for her loss.  I'm just so happy that he was able to have so much family and so many friends by his side at the end.  He is very much loved and will be missed very much.

Aw! I'm leaving for Chicago Friday night and coming back monday morning!

@Winechic-It does suck but I just realized last night that that vent actually closes. But I don't think closing it will keep the smell out.

@ crash- that does suck. Hello Febreeze? (on a serious note- I just got some wallflowers from Bath & Body Works for 50% off- pumpkin and autumn scents. They cover up our dog smells quite wonderfully. Even FI liked them and he usually hates  what he calls "girly" smells) 

Giselle- is everything okay? I am glad you are all recovered. Furkids are the best kind of medicine if you ask me. 

KHolly- I too am sorry for your loss. 

I had a talk yesterday with my boss since it was her first day back from her maternity leave and it was wonderful I finally opened up about my goal of living abroad and she gave me a good plan on how I can get there with my company. Having someone else tell me to stop devaluing myself gives me a renewed ambition to really go for my goals.  Good work days don't happen often enough!
