Centerpiece Options - thoughts please!

My florist has given me three options for our centerpieces, and I'm torn between Option 1, and Option 3.  What do you ladies think?  I guess ultimately the question is whether centerpieces should be the same or alternate?  (FYI, my venue is the club level of a football stadium, so we are not talking traditional ballroom reception here).  Thanks!!

*1:  Each centerpiece will be made up of (3) square vases of varying heights.  Each vase will contain 1 stem of Purple Dendrobium Orchid submerged in the water, River Rock, and a Floating Candle.

*2:  Each centerpiece will be made up of one tall square vase and will include 2 stems of submerged Purple Dendrobium Orchids, River Rock, and a Floating Candle.  Each vase will be surrounded by 3 small square votive candles.

*3:  The centerpieces will alternate between Options 1 and 2.  Nine tables will have Option 1 as the centerpieces (or Option 2) and the additional 10 tables will have Option 2 as the centerpieces (or Option 1).

I like option 1 the best because you are getting the varying heights of the three vases which will help add movement.  Could you possibly add the three small votives to option 1 because the more candles the better in my book!

On a side note, I see that you are from Baltimore...are you by any chance getting married at Ravens Stadium?

I agree, the more candles the better!  I actually like #3 because I like the idea of varying the centerpieces.  I had a similar idea although I ended up not doing it myself.  But yeah, my second choice would be #1 also.

I'm actually wanting to do a variation of option 1 myself.  Except with Orchids and crushed mirror instead of rocks.

    Great taste :)

I definitely like the idea of difference centerpieces. I'd go with option #3.

I vote Option 1...it's very similar to what we did for our centerpieces and it was gorgeous!! I don't have photos back yet or I would post them :-/

Are you paying the florist for the glass centerpieces? I only ask because you can get all different shapes and sizes of glass vases at your local dollar store (I know for sure Dollar Tree has them) and they are $1 each. They have cyllinder vases of varying heights, heart shaped vases, round vases, square vases, etc. and they are perfect for use with a 2-3 inch floating candle. I am using 3 vases of varying shapes as a centerpiece at each of my guests tables, and I am putting stones in the bottom (also found at Dollar Tree) and flower petals below the floating candle. Just a thought!
