XP: Flowers in hair

I'd love to wear flowers in my hair during my July wedding - real ones, not silk.

I'm undecided about shape and color, has anyone good advice? Any tips for July flowers that are sturdy enough to last a day are welcome...

cymbitium orchids hold up nicely.  so do calla lilies

You don't mention if you want to wear ONE large flower, or are you thinking of wearing a 1970's style floral wreath on your head? Also, what color? One flower behind an ear? Instead of, or with, a veil?
