I am getting to go see Harry Potter this afternoon at 5 PM thanks to an AWESOME local movie theater who decided to make kids at my school and the other HS in our district happy.

Tomorrow will be my last day at work until Nov. 29th.  WHOOP!

My brother and I leave for Disney four weeks from today.

We redid our attic stairs from scratch, DIY style.  I wish house renovating had an Etsy.  Well I guess we do, it's called Home Depot.

I used my stove for the first time Sunday.  I don't know how I feel about it.

Carpet cleaning happens on Monday and moving happens Tuesday.

I have a new coworker, my boss!  The lady that we had so many problems with is no longer our boss.  Can we say "You're as cold as ice"?  She still has a horrible attitude, won't even talk to us but she is no longer over us.  Thankfully she stays in her office for the most part.  Oh and she will not be here next week.  It's been like Christmas lately at work!

I got DH's birthday cake and a tier for our anniversary for $35.  Thank you Colleen!

-Excited to meet with a 2nd florist (Mid-Cities Florist, met with Bice's a month or so ago), then my potential (at this point, likely) photographer (David Wilson) on Monday!!

Finally... booked a band!  It was difficult because we had limited options but were very specific about what we wanted. One wasn't willing to work with us and the other was already booked.  But I'm so glad to get that checked off my list.  It's a local Vietnamese/English band.

Cake has been reordered!  After they lost my first one   But it's all done now... thank goodness!

Papal Blessing (for Catholic brides) has been ordered!  Glad to have that checked off my list too

I'm feeling good!

We met with our linens person on Saturday and decided how we wanted those.  I am very excited and I think it will look really colorful and fun!

I met with Mid-cities also and ended up going with Bice because Mid-cities was almost $700 more than Bice.  Hope they give you more comparable prices then I got!  They had some great ideas but just not what I was looking for!

My AW is NWR.  We are going to the Margarita Ball Saturday and so I get to go get my hair and makeup done all over again on Saturday.  I'm actually really excited!  My sister and I are both going so it will be fun having someone there with me that I know!  Free margaritas all night is another BIG plus!!!

I booked my photographer!! We met with Brian from Krauzian Images yesterday, and we loved his work. With all the other things that haven't been going 'as planned' I am so relieved to have this secured!

Holy smokes, you've BOUGHT all your Christmas presents already?  I haven't even started....

Dana,  have fun at the margarita ball!  I went two years ago and had a blast!  There is a wall of toys by the end of the night that is way impressive.  Also drink up early and often.  As the night gets later, the line gets longer.  Once the fountains run dry, no more free drinks.

Mommy AW - I bought Cadence's first Santa gift. 

The child likes to steal things from the kitchen, turn bowls upside down and sit in her room and just druuuuum away... for hours.  We have a friend that has a drum set, and she will sit down at the drums and play all day there too... I literally have to tear her away. 

So, I found a drum set!  It's her size too (which is freakin' adorable)... Andrew says that he may pull all of his hair out and I can't believe that I'm doing this to myself.. but viola!  Drumset from Santa!!

I started wrapping too! I got most of the FI's presents wrapped, just in case he managed to find my hiding spot..he's like a 5 year old kid when it comes to presents - he will search the whole house to find them!

And, is it sad that he's asking for boxers and socks as Christmas gifts?!? LOL

I want to say it was $2.50 a chair the last time we used her but it ended up being $3-$3.50 a chair because we added a second color band to the sash.  We've done the color squares too and that may be $2-4 a table.
