I need ideas on how to make this bouquet more "rustic" if possible at all.

Twig type additions? I'm lost, I've already pretty much committed to this and love it but I want to take the wedding in a more rustic direction... hoping for some suggestions.

look at seed pods a a Michaels or AC Moore for a rustic touch

You might be able to use some antiquing solution on the brooches to add patina or rust or something.
