how long should it take to get a quote?

we met with a florist on sunday and she said she would email me a quote, I thought that she would get back to me pretty quickly all the other vendors I have talked to have been very quick at giving me a price.. But still haven't gotten the email with the quote.  How long should it take to get a quote? I'm just curious.

    I had one give me the quote the same day. Another sent it a week later. A third never sent a quote- so I crossed her off my list.

    If you really like their work then I would suggest emailing again and giving them a deadline of a week or two before you move on.

    One promised me a quote on Wednesday after a Sat. meeting and sent it the Tuesday after that (no thanks), the other said give her two weeks (but it's just her) - it hasn't been that long so I can't say if she'll deliver.
