Our main flower is going to be a tiger lily, but I've heard that they do not keep for long at all so I am trying to look for silk ones.

I bought a ton of silk wildflowers from Michaels on Clearance not too long ago. The only thing I don't like about them is the way the sems look (it looks sort of plastic-y to me), so we're going to put them either in opaque glasses or fill clear vases with water gems.

We decided to go with silk because our wedding is in the mountains, in April, so there's no gaurauntee of what you'll be able to get. And that wildflowers tend to wilt quickly so we didn't want to worry about that for our evening reception.

If you want I'll post some pics of the flowers I got to give you an idea of what I found.

    Good luck!

real!  especially in a vinyard.  What a beautiful landscape.  Check this out.

Fall mums would be gorgeous and at peak about the time of your wedding...huge array of colors available, relatively inexpensive, and easy to get!

Also, depending on your colors and if you have a spot to plant them, annual asters (purple, pink and white) are gorgeous, give you a wildflower look, and are easy to grow!
