Gold flowers?

My colors are red and gold and I really want to find some kind of goldish colored flower to lighten up the color scheme. Yellows can be too bright and I cant think of a yellow flower that looks gold . My wedding is new years day on Cape Cod. Help me!

I would use a decorative stem or something instead.  Something like this:

Or you could put gold bead/pearls in the middle of your other flowers also.

If you mean a yellow-gold color, yellow "button" style pom poms are cheap and available year round, maybe mums, asters, or roses.

If you mean more of a champagne gold, or "beige" type color, then the only ones I can think of off hand would be a soft buttery/cream yellow rose, stock, or carnation. I've sometimes seen alstromerias, mums, spray roses, or hydrangeas in an almost beige or tan color, but they usually have a touch of peach or pink in them.

If you mean a metallic gold, then I agree with PP, use some non floral jeweld accents for the gold instead of flowers.

Your florist should be able to spray any flower you want.  I thought we would have to go with silk flowers because I want different shades of blue roses, but real ones sprayed look great!

There's a gorgoeus cymbidium orchid called 'Charly Brown'  that has a burgundy throat that sounds like it would be perfect with your theme.  They look great with Black Magic roses amd gold Vanda orchids (which make great boutonnieres / corsages).
