Average flower costs?

Hi everyone,

I'm just starting to look into florists for my wedding next June and I was wondering what an average budget is for flowers?  I'd like to know before I start shopping around a reasonable estimate.

Also, what are the typical arrangments needed besides bouquets/bout and centerpieces?

You may want to post this on your local board, but since I'm from your area...
I'm paying $800 for my bouquet, 5 BM bouquets, 12 boutonnieres, and a flower girl arrangement.  This includes delivery.  I found that cost was a little on the lower side for the area, but pretty average.  If you need centerpieces or other arrangements, you can expect to pay a lot more - most florists I talked to priced centerpieces between $40-$70 each.  GL!

Also in your area!  We were quoted about $1150 for my bouquet, 6 BM bouquets, 2 FG bouquets, 8 bouts, 3 corsages, Blessed Virgin Mary flowers, and 2 large church arrangements.  Then we are getting tall/large centerpieces at $150-$175 each.  It definitely varies by the area, but I think that price is very reasonable for what we are getting.

Last night was my wedding and we worked with Ann from Cottage Flowers in Parsippany. Let me just say that I am so happy I dealt with her. she was incredible from start to finish. My centerpieces and bouquets were absolutely stunning. So if anyone needs a great florist I would say call her. the knowledge she has about flowers was so incredible!
