Flowers

Bottles

Hey all!  My sister is getting married in November and looking to do floral centerpieces in lots of random, old looking, random, glass bottles and/or jars...  I was wondering if anyone had any that they would be looking to get rid of/sell sometime before July?  Email sarahjeanschmidt@gmail.com if you've got a handful you'd be ready to get rid of! We have been searching antique and resale shops, but thought there might be someone doing something similar with nowhere to store 100 random glass pieces after the wedding!!  Thanks :)

Love the idea and I have a collection myself... but not selling.  I got most of mine at the swap shop at our local dump.. It is a place people can leave useful stuff they don't want... Yours might have one...
Otherwise i would just put the word out and have people collect for you.
I also like the idea of various dessert cups and small wine glasses with floating candles rather than just votives... they have been even easier to come by...Don't ya love the idea of recycling cool found stuff?!

You might try local flea markets, but if they are truly old bottles, they probably won't be as cheap as you're hoping.

Thrift shops and discount/outlet stores such as Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall's,  or Beall's might have assorted vases and bottles.  Or look on line at the dollar tree.

This may sound bad, but if you have curbside recycling in your area (or recycling containers), you may be able to get some for free that way. A lot of bottles look cooler once they have the labels removed. Condiment bottles especially can be pretty cool since they don't look like a beer or pop bottle (soy sauce, hot sauce, ketchup, etc. have all yielded me some pretty cool vases). You could also try flea markets or ebay.

Not sure what shape you want, or if you want them clear, but this website has a variety:

    This one too

I just googled "clear glass bottles wholesale". If you don't like these, try googling.

    Good luck.
