Is it bad if I am thinking about using funeral flowers as wedding flowers?

For whatever reason, florists seem to jack up the price for wedding flowers.
I took a look at some "sympathy" flowers from florists' websites
and they are very similar in style, I can choose pink and white combo
and the price is reasonable. Is it terrible that I 'm thinking about using what's supposed to be a "funeral flower" as my wedding flower?
attached pix are what are supposed to be 'funeral flowers'...

Are you looking to order the arrangements or you getting ideas for flowers that appear to be inexpensive? You can choose the exact same arrangements, but I'm pretty sure they'll catch on to you when you tell them to deliver the flowers to a reception venue.  If you're looking to save money, you can buy flowers are a supermarket and put them together yourself if you have the time and talent.

    I'm looking to order arrangements.
The ones in the picture are from 1800 flowers.
Do you think they'd care if I use them as wedding flowers?
I don't think I'll have the time to arange flowers myself since the ceremony is in the morning and the day before or two I'll be occupied with other tasks

I think a flower is a flower is a flower. As long as you don't tell everyone they are funeral flowers no one will know thats what they were intended for. I mean, what's the difference anyway. I think they are gorgeous and if I was at your wedding and saw them, I wouldn't think, "OMG who died? What was she thinking?" lol I think they are just fine. You have to cut corners where you can.

absolutely not.  I am a florist and I never classify flowers like that, or no one would have lillies in their bouquets!!  It's your day ;)

As a floral designer, I'll tell you this.  The first picture, just tell the florist to make it looser and loose the bow, the second one, again loose the bow and make lower and round ( the picture is actually one sided ), it would make an excellent centre piece.  Bunches Bob

Funeral flowers only need to look good from the front because they are often displayed at an alter so the other side of them is a hot mess of greenery. If you put these on a table (especially a round one) your guests will notice this. I would recommend getting actual arrangements. You may be able to find other arrangements for birthdays or thank yous that could work. Also have you considered potted plants like a single orchid plant? Potted plants are super cheap and you could always make cute containers for them.

FYI - florists don't jack up prices of wedding flowers just because they are for weddings.  If you went into a florist and asked for a $50 low and round vase arrangement with X, Y, and Z flowers in it...it would be the same arrangement that you would get if you said that you wanted it for a wedding.

I think that you should order whatever flowers you like and are comfortable with. It doesn't matter what the florist advertises the flowers as for. It isn't like it will jinx your wedding or something. An I honestly couldn't tell from your pictures that they were funeral flowers. I would probably lose the bows, but otherwise they are pretty.

Thank you everyone, especially the professional florists who commented here!
    They were very very helpful!
I was thinking about getting them to put by on the floor by the sweet heart table
or on the entrance (so that only one side is showing) Thank you all :)
