Re: dyi flowers

  • our wedding was in June on the olympic peninsula. We cut bucket loads of wild flowers and greenery the day before the wedding and put together all the decorations, bouquets, and boutennierres/corsages ourselves.
  • I ordered my flowers from a small, local wholesaler.
    Anniversary
  • We ordered flowers from Sam's Club for both my daughter's and son's weddings. We had bulk bouquets for one and bulk baby's breath for the other.  The flowers arrived on Thursday and we made the bouquets on Thursday night.  Everything looked beautiful for the weddings which were on Saturdays.  I put the flowers in a cooler with water in it until we were ready to arrange them....After they were arranged I put them in pitchers and glasses

until we needed them.  We waited until the morning of the wedding to wrap the bouquets with ribbon so it didn't get wet.
  • <div>I'm considering doing this, did you not feel overwhelmed spending the day before your wedding having to get all of the flowers done? Wasn't it stressful? Also, where did you store them? Thanks!</div><div>
